Payment Options

For online purchases, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

If ordering by mail, we accept Money Orders, Cashier’s Checks and Personal Checks. All Personal Checks must list current address, phone number and driver’s license number. Personal Checks received without this information will be held until clearance from the bank, which takes approximately 1 to 3 weeks. Returned check fee is $35.00. If you are ordering by mail and sending a Money Order, Cashier’s Check or Personal Check as your payment, please send it to the following address:

Order by Mail

For Customers who prefer to order our products by mail, a form under the heading Order by Mail can be printed, completed and mailed to us.

Credit Card Security

At North Country Herbs, we believe in preserving your personal information in the most secure way possible. All transactions are done over fully secured server connections to ensure your credit card information and personal information will not end up in the wrong hands.

Cancel or Change an Order

If you want to cancel an order, please contact us at info@northcountryherbs.com or leave a message at 1-518-963-4025. You may change or cancel your order as long as the order has not been processed or shipped.

Return and Refund Policy

We are confident that you will be happy with our products, and we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. However if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return the products to us for a full refund, subject to the Conditions and Limitations set forth below.

If you want to return an item, please complete the information on the Page called “Returns” in order to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization. We will not accept any returns without it. Once a return is authorized, we will refund your payment less any shipping charges. We reserve the right to reject any returns or exchanges that do not meet these conditions.

CONDITIONS FOR RETURNS:

1) Item must be in original packaging and in new condition and original form
2) Returned within 14 days of receipt and
3) Original receipt required.

LIMITATIONS:

To ensure purity, we cannot exchange or offer refunds on items listed in Mercantile that contain plant material or essential oils and we cannot accept return of books.

Damaged Freight

All merchandise is shipped FOB shipping point. This means that all merchandise becomes your property as soon as we give it to the freight carrier. We package your purchases very carefully. It is the freight carrier which is responsible for the complete and safe delivery of your merchandise. Please thoroughly inspect the merchandise when it is delivered. If the freight carrier fails to deliver your merchandise in good condition, it is your responsibility to file a damage or loss claim with the freight carrier but we will assist you in filing that claim. If you need help filing a claim, please contact us.

Liability

Because conditions of use are beyond our control, we offer no warranty or representation, express or implied, except that all products that we sell conform to the description provided by the manufacturer on sales literature or product labels. Our liability is limited to the purchase price paid.

Security

All online transactions are secure and encrypted for protection of your private and financial information.

Confirmation of Order and Tracking Information

You will receive an email notification of your order. You will then receive another notification once your product has shipped. This notification will include the order’s tracking number.

Gift Wrap

We offer gift wrap or festive box and ribbon for an additional charge of $4.95. Please provide the information that we need in order to render this service to you. See Gift Wrapping Services page for details.

Hand-Crafted Items

We are proud to offer hand-crafted items. These items are offered in limited quantities. If we experience a greater demand than there is a supply of one of the designs or scents of our hand- crafted products, our Web Store may indicate that the item is “Unavailable.”  Your order will not be processed at that time.

However, we consistently re-stock our products and would be pleased to  fulfill your order as soon as possible if you email us via the Contact Us page.
